Mission Statement: The Arc of Greater Williamsburg works to improve the quality of life for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through community activities and advocacy.

  • We conduct 10-11 activities each month. They are held in the evenings or on weekends.
  • We offer programming for young adults to senior citizens.
  • We have three distinct programs: Self-Advocacy (Education); Adapted Wellness (Fitness); and Quality of Life (Social/recreational).
  • We work with area high school transition teams to bring awareness to our programs once these young adults leave special education.
