12-11-2002 Phone lines cut on Jamestown Road. Tech support and business office affected.

A crew working along Jamestown Road in Williamsburg near Widomaker's business office and tech support call center cut through some telephone lines causing telephone service to be disrupted in that area. This disruption means that it is not possible to reach our business office or tech support call center by phone until the telephone lines that were cut have been repaired. Verizon has estimated that repairs should be completed by approximately noon on Thursday (12/12/02).

As a result of this disruption in telephone service, our office will be closed until telephone service is restored. This disruption will only prevent folks from calling our office. There is no interruption of Internet service. Also, it is still possible to reach us by e-mail (support@widomaker.com).

Subject: [SUPPORT] Telephone outage at Widomaker Offices
Date: Wed, 11 Dec 2002 21:39:14 -0500

At about 5:30 pm today (Wednesday 12/11/02) phone service to
Widomaker's Jamestown office was disrupted due to what we jokingly
refer to as a "backhoe" outage. Service was restored at approximately
9:15 pm Wednesday evening.

There is currently a road construction project ongoing in front of
building. On Monday I understand they hit a gas line so I guess we
should be grateful.

Our office will be open as usual on Thursday provided everybody digs
in the correct place from now on.
