To: WidoSAT customers Date: Tue Sep 16 2003 Subject: WidoSAT storm information (Hurricane Isabel) Hello. With Hurricane Isabel approaching we thought we would respond to several questions we have received from some WidoSAT customers regarding the approaching storm. Q: Who is responsible for the WidoSAT equipment? Who owns the equipment? A: The WidoSAT equipment (satellite dish, mount, LNB, cable, and PCI card) is customer owned and is purchased when signing up (included in the setup fee). If any of the equipment is damaged, the customer would be responsible for replacement costs. If the alignment of the satellite dish is altered by high wind, the customer would be responsible for the costs of re-tuning the dish. Q: Should I take the satellite dish down before the storm to avoid the risk of damage? A: That is up to you. If you take the dish down, there would be a charge to have our WidoSAT crew come out to remount it and re-tune the dish. There might also be a delay before we can send anyone out. Q: If my dish is lost or damaged by the storm or high wind, who is responsible for replacement? A: The customer would be responsible for the cost of replacing the equipment and installation. Q: If my WidoSAT service is disrupted due to weather can I still connect using a normal dialup connection? A: Yes. All WidoSAT customers have access to an "unlimited" dialup account. If you need help or instructions for how to access the normal dialup account, please call our office. Please contact us if you have any additional questions or concerns. Thanks for choosing Widomaker for your Internet access needs. Regards, WidoSAT Support Staff http://www.widomaker.com/ 757-253-7621 support@widomaker.com
