Subject: [SUPPORT] Upcoming Outage on Widomaker ADSL circuits 5/24/04

On Monday, May 24th, between the hours of 9pm and midnight EST, Widomaker will
be performing emergency maintenance on our ADSL services. During this time,
connectivity to the Internet will likely be lost for the majority of
Widomaker's ADSL customers. It is very possible that you will have to restart
your DSL "modem" in order to reconnect to the Internet. Those of you who use
DSL routers will most likely have to reboot them as well. Please note: If
your ADSL line is on old "GTE" territory (Va Beach and portions of Chesapeake)
you will _not_ be effected by this outage.

Over the past two weeks we have been chasing an intermittent failure that was
causing significant slow downs on these ADSL lines. We believe we have the
failing equipment isolated and will be removing it from service during this
outage. It is our goal for this outage to be as brief as 60 seconds. However,
due to complexity of this process, it could possibly take longer. That is why
we our specifying a 3 hour outage window. Typically we would perform this type
of work between the hours of 2 and 5 am, but in this case we have to coordinate
with an external vendor and so are subject to their working hours.

Please accept my apologies in advance for this interruption in service. If you
have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to let me know.
